Sian is an Emmy Award-winning producer, writer, and director who has created and delivered a comprehensive range of film, television and web content for networks including HBO, the BBC, National Geographic, and Channel 4. Sian began her career running production for international companies working in the United States. She worked on a wide range of programming, including the BBC’s investigative documentary series Panorama, So Graham Norton, 2000 Today and Absolutely Fabulous in New York and Channel 4’s Da Ali G Show. As a partner at Teale Edwards Productions she produced over a hundred hours of programming including eight seasons of Everyday Italian for which she won a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Program in 2003. Sian served as co— director and co—producer on the National Geographic documentary, The Dalai Lama: Peace and Prosperity, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also executive produced Hacking Democracy for HBO, which was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Investigative Journalism. Sian is passionate about every aspect of content development and production and she is currently the Co—CEO at Green Hummingbird Entertainment where she has just completed the documentary HERE. IS. BETTER. with Jack Youngleson and is in development with a variety of projects including the international scripted series Vanguard —1 with Daniel Percival and The Dragon — a scripted series about the first black chess grandmaster Maurice Ashley.
